In a bold step, U.S Representative Anna Paulina Luna has demanded the release of “secret” UAP videos by the 14th April 2026, from the Department of War.
At the time of writing (12th of April 2026), that leaves only two days for potentially jaw-dropping real-world evidence to be released to Congress.
This is not a conspiracy; this is real.
The request was made in a formal letter dated 31st March 2026 to the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth.
The Letter
What Does this Mean?
This letter is part of a greater drive for the “Declassification of Federal Secrets”, which has already provided the release of the Jeffrey files and information regarding historical assassinations, including John F. Kennedy in 1963.
The thinking behind the push is that secrecy lessens public trust in the government.
Transparency leads to greater awareness of potential past abuses of the system in order to prevent similar mistakes in the future.
The most stunning thing about this request is how specific it is. The letter lists specific videos of interest, so it’s clear Luna has dug up some interesting and tangible leads to follow.
Interestingly, the letter criticises the All Domain Resolution Office (AARO), the official government body for investigating UAP, for being “less than adequate” when it comes to providing information and data on sightings.
This correlates with Representative Tim Burchett’s recent bill to terminate AARO.
The letter and request also tie in nicely with Representative Eric Burlison’s request (in March 2026) to visit specific locations that apparently may currently or previously have contained tangible UAP evidence or materials.
One of which is shockingly reported to contain a UAP that is “too big to move”.

It seems the investigative hounds are narrowing in on the fox.
Criticism
Of course, although all this is tantalisingly mouth-watering and credible, it would not be fair to present this without some criticism.
The first thing to consider is that we already have a history of released “secret” videos, some of which have been from Reaper drones and fighter jet Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) imaging systems.
These have included the “Go-Fast”, “Gimbal” and “Tic-Tac” videos released in 2017 and, more recently, a video of a Hellfire missile “bouncing off” a UAP, first revealed in a Congressional hearing in 2025 by Representative Eric Burlison.

These types of videos, although interesting, are often inconclusive, blurry and are easily debunked by sceptics.
So, unless there is something crystal clear in the batch of 46 videos, sceptics are likely to have a field day analysing and debunking.
Secondly, even if there were a jaw-dropping, clear video of something seemingly real, it’s likely that it would not be accepted as genuine due to the rise of AI-generated video and CGI.
All in all, video “evidence” is unlikely to be conclusive in this day and age.
Although Luna and colleagues have pushed the needle forward significantly with bold and determined work, it’s highly unlikely that video “evidence” alone will be sufficient to convince the public.
Especially when there are so many fake UAP images and videos circulating already.
A higher bar of proof, not “evidence”, needs to be found.
What Can We Learn?
Regardless, all this points to and gives further weight to the argument that there is something going on. There is definitely ‘a there, there’.
The specifics of Luna’s request are undeniable; this is not fantasy.
Whether that ‘something’ is extra-terrestrial in origin, or something more prosaic, we will have to wait and see the results of Anna Paulina Luna’s, Eric Burlison’s and Tim Burchett’s investigations.
Post the 14th of April 2026 deadline, Congress could finally hold tangible evidence of these fantastical claims. We’ll have to wait and see.
Whether the claims are true or not, it’s clear that there is a huge public interest in the topic.
Therefore, entrepreneurs would be wise to look at this growing trend and take it into consideration with regard to their marketing efforts.
Those in the entertainment and content creation fields could do extremely well, especially as the pressure is put on the government by Anna Paulina Luna and her colleagues.
If something tangible were to come out of these 46 UAP videos, then all bets would be off, and it’s extremely likely the video or videos of interest will go viral within minutes of release.
Final thoughts
This latest drive by Anna Paulina Luna is certainly interesting.
However, caution is needed, as previous “secret” UAP videos have either been inconclusive or easily debunked by sceptics.
If the batch of 46 videos does show something tangible, all bets are off, and the video of interest is sure to go viral within minutes of release.
Whether this latest drive proves anything or not, entrepreneurs should take note that the topic and trend are only getting stronger.
Savvy entrepreneurs, especially media and content creators, would be wise to consider inclusion in their content.
